Our Association Demands the grade pay of Rs.6,600/- in PB-3 for IInd financial up gradation & grade pay of Rs.7,600/- in PB-3 for IIIrd financial up gradation to all the eligible Superintendents of Central Excise under the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme. We got opportunity to see the FM on 21.2.10 with the help of Chandigarh unit. S/Sh. R. Pratap, A.K.Sharma, Subhash Batra (all from Chandigarh), S. Pareek, C.S. Sharma, R. Chhabra & me attended the meeting with Sh. Manish Tewari, MP. Thanx to the Chandigarh unit & Sh.Tewari.
FM went through our representation very thoroughly reading every line. He assured us to do the needful asking to have next meeting after budget. Again thanx to Chandigarh unit, Sh. The 9th National Convention of our Association was held at Kanpur on 22nd and 23rd January 2010. The following were elected as office

We place on record our appreciation to the Northern regional units who hosted the convention at Kanpur especially Sri R K Nigam
(Kanpur) for the excellent arrangements. Hope the vast experience of Shri. Parikhji and the vibrancy of
Shri. Ravi will help the Association solve our perennial problems in the near future.
